Organising a BIP - especially for the first time - can be daunting. Here are some tips to keep in mind:
- When creating the consortium, keep in mind that the topic and content of BIP must be attractive, specific, and fit well into the curricula of students from all the universities involved.
- Decide if a short cycle (i.e. max 6 months) or long cycle (i. e. two years) of preparation fits your consortium/university better.
- Make sure that all decisions are informed by both (academics and IRO) – however the importance of their input differs in each part.
- Unite platforms for online communication, and make sure technical equipment is available to all participants and lecturers.
- Think of the required changes in BIP/mobility documentation.
- Promotion (including recruitment) is essential for every BIP on each level (consortium, participants, institutions involved).
- Consider associated partners' involvement (partners outside university for the programme, ESN/volunteers for free time activities).
